SAMMAMISH, Wash. — Former Washington State quarterback Jason Gesser is the new head football coach at Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish. It’s his first head coaching job.

Since graduating from Washington State, Gesser has spent time with the Tennessee Titans, the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League, and Utah and New York of the Arena Football League.

He coached quarterbacks at Federal Way High School three years ago and spent the past two years in the same capacity with Franklin Pierce High in Tacoma.

Gesser has also worked as a commentator for FSN Northwest.
