BATTLE GROUND — Kayla Maki bowled a 354 series to help lead R.A. Long to a 1809-1736 victory over Battle Ground at Tiger Bowl here Thursday in a nonleague bowling match.
Kelsey McNeal rolled a 327 and Camille Andes a 269 for the Lumberjills (3-0).
“We’re off to a pretty good start this season,” RAL coach Jackie Slechta said. “We graduated almost our entire team, so we’re young. But we’re starting to come together.”
Johnsen cards 401 series
VANCOUVER — Natalie Johnsen had games of 200 and 201 for a 401 series to lead a balanced attack as Mark Morris destroyed Skyview 1878-1439 in a nonleague bowling match at Crosley Bowl on Thursday.
Brittany Yoke added a 373 series for MM, with a high game of 201.
The Monarchs improved to 4-0.
Lassies roll past River
VANCOUVER — Kim Gustin posted a high game of 203 to help Kelso to an easy 1851-1558 nonleague bowling victory over Columbia River at Crosley Bowl on Thursday.
Gustin had a two-game series of 359.
Also for the Lassies (3-1), Ashleigh Brackney had a 340 series.

Mark Morris 1289, Skyview 1183 — Lesley Bernard led MM with a 135 high game (240 series) and Mikayla Shepherd had the high series with a 245.
Kelso 1396, Columbia River 1120 — Shawna Crawford (278 series) paced Kelso. Elisa Bussanich had the Lassies’ high game with a 166.
