GRESHAM, Ore. — Lower Columbia College topped division rival Highline 25-23 in the first game, but the Thunderbirds rallied to win the final two 25-11, 15-12 in a loser-out match at the NWAACC Volleyball Championships at Mount Hood College on Friday.
The loss ended LCC’s season at 21-24.
Theresa Mott led the way at the net with eight kills and Cassie Koering chipped in five. Lavina Latu (18 assists) and Tarin Bond (11 digs) also played well for the Lady Devils.
