PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State football player Cory Mackay was injured in an auto accident while driving home to Redmond.

Coach Paul Wulff said Mackay had completed his last final and was driving home Thursday when the accident occurred outside of Washtucna.

He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is in stable condition.
