The Daytona 500 is upon us, racing fans, and we've added some new features to keep our readers in touch with this year's NASCAR season.

Check out our Sports headlines module on the home page, where you'll find a new tab devoted exclusively to NASCAR coverage. We've got Daytona Week stories, driver capsules and a Sprint Cup schedule with links to weekly results.. We'll update the stories throughout the season.

NASCAR contest

There's still time to sign up for our NASCAR Challenge contest. For each race, you can pick 10 drivers who you think will have the best finish. Check back to see how your picks stack up against other players across the nation and here at tdn.com. The contest begins with Sunday's Daytona 500 and ends with the Ford 400 in November. Your top 15 races of the season count toward your overall score.

The top national prize is a trip for two to the Richard Petty Driving Experience. There are also weekly national prizes, including official NASCAR wrist watches. We'll also offer a local grand prize. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we're working with a local tire shop on that one. Stay tuned.
