Congressman Brian Baird’s town hall meeting in Longview will be Wednesday, Aug. 19 at the Cowlitz Expo Center, his office announced Thursday.

The town hall, to discuss health care reform now being debated in Congress, will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m..

It will be the second in a series of town halls Baird plans in his congressional district, with the first Aug. 18 in his hometown of Vancouver.

In a press release, Baird’s office said the meeting is “open to all Southwest Washington residents” and the media.
