Local American Legion posts will hold Memorial Day services around Cowlitz County on Monday. Here’s a roundup:

• 9 a.m. Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens in Kelso (A previous version of this story listed an incorrect time).

• 10 a.m. Silver Lake Cemetery

• 11 a.m. Kalama Cemetery, sponsored by Kalama American Legion and VFW.

• 11 a.m. Longview Memorial Park. The service conducted Longview American Legion Post 155 will include the R.A. Long High School band and a speech by State Rep. Brian Blake (Friday’s story listed the wrong speaker). American flags will line the main cemetery avenue, but there will be no military flyover this year.

• 11 a.m. Whittle-Hubbard The Cemetery in Castle Rock. The Glen Hoyer Post 175 will conduct its traditional Memorial Day service, joined by representatives of other veterans organizations. Choir members of the Castle Rock Lutheran Church will perform. A hamburger feed will at the Castle Rock American Legion Hall follows the service.
