Cathlamet’s Christmas Tree Lighting celebration is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Saturday in front of the Wahkiakum County Courthouse.
Santa is expected to attend the event.
'Steel Magnolias'
This is the last weekend to see the Loves Street Playhouse production of “Steel Magnolias,” a comedy-drama about five women in a Southern town.
Shows are at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, with admission $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and youth.

'Alice in Wonderland'
Lower Columbia College Center Stage’s production of “Alice in Wonderland: An Acid Trip” continues with as show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
It’s a groovy psychedelic 1970s version of the classic story, not for children.
Tickets cost $8 general, $7 students and seniors, free to all LCC students.
Groovin'
Raeann’s Groove will play Top 40 dance music from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturday at Henri’s Carousel, 4545 Ocean Beach Highway.
Admission is $2 or two cans of food.
5 bands at Nikki's
DTP (Defying the Past), Renegade, SeaCats, This Day is Gone and Jeff Hamilton will play from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Nikki’s Italian Grill, 404 W. Main St., Kelso.
There’s a $6 cover charge for the all-ages show.
Living History
The Lelooska Foundation will perform its Living History Programs with masks, stories, songs, dances and stories in the ceremonial long house at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children 12 and younger. Reservations required by calling (360) 225-9522.
The event is In Ariel, east of Woodland on Lewis River Road.
