Cougs to play Hawaii, SMU, Irish in 2009 football season

PULLMAN, Wash.  — The Washington State football team will play Hawaii, Southern Methodist and Notre Dame next season, along with its Pacific-10 opponents.

Director of Athletics Jim Sterk said WSU will play Hawaii on Sept. 12 in its annual game in Seattle. They will host Southern Methodist the following week in Pullman.

They play Notre Dame on Oct. 31, in San Antonio, Texas.
