EWU to retire Stuckey's number

SPOKANE — Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey will have his jersey retired when Eastern Washington plays Weber State on Sunday.
Stuckey played two seasons for EWU before becoming a first round NBA draft pick in 2007. He is currently averaging 13 points per game as a starter for the Pistons. He will sign autographs after the game.
This would have been his senior year with the Eagles.
Stuckey, a native of Kent, Wash., played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Eastern. He averaged 24 points per game each season. After being academically ineligible coming out of high school, Stuckey attained a 3.34 grade point average at the Cheney school.
