Teen couple charged after body is found in Oregon

E-mail this articleSALEM, Ore. — A 15-year-old runaway girl was charged with murder and her 18-year-old boyfriend faces lesser charges after a tip led police to a body in the woods outside Salem.
The girl was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. She was being held at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Her boyfriend, Juan Carlos Silva, was charged with abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence.
An autopsy was scheduled Thursday to determine the identity of the victim and the cause of death.
