Cassie Koering had a monster match with 21 kills, seven blocks and four service aces as Lower Columbia College rallied to turn away Linn-Benton 25-27, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 16-14 in nonleague volleyball at Truman Myklebust Gym on Friday.

“Cassie absolutely dominated the match,” LCC coach Marcy Gilchrist said. “She got the sets she needed starting in the second half of the second game when the passing started coming on.”

Kacie DeRosier dished 49 assists, Denali Preston made 23 digs, Sara Jespersen added four blocks and Tarin Bond chipped in four aces as LCC improved to 2-3.

“Tarin had a good game with passing, particularly on serve receive,” Gilchrist added. “Lacey Flatz also had a solid game with amazing kills that had a lot of power at pivotal points.”

The Lady Devils host an NWAACC Cross-Over Tournament next Friday and Saturday.
