Warm and sunny weather is expected, and Southwest Washington will be swarming with hot rods and motorcycles this weekend.

So get out, enjoy the iron horses and hot cars, buy some fresh vegetables or learn more about the region’s history.

Here’s a partial list of what’s happening Saturday and Sunday.

• The Beach Barons “Rod Run to the End of the World” continues Saturday and Sunday and is expected to attract about 1,500 custom cars to the Long Beach Peninsula. It features vendors, music and lots of car gawking.

• About 300 motorcycles are expected to take part in the inaugural Highlander Iron Horse Festival Saturday under the Allen Street Bridge in downtown Kelso. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the event closes with a cruise along South Pacific and South First avenues.

• Crafts, fresh produce, plants and other wares will be for sale at the Cowlitz Community Farmers Market Saturday near the Expo Center on Seventh Avenue in Longview. Hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The Longview Saturday Market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Commerce Avenue south of Broadway.

• The Rainier Marina Market, located at 115 East “A” Street, will continue to be open Saturdays through summer. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Vendors offer plants, bakery, artwork, crafts and produce.

• The Stella Historical Society holds its annual “Remnants of the Past” fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at its museum complex along State Route 4 west of Longview. The event features live blacksmith demonstrations, hand-made crafts home-baked snacks and desserts.

• Sunday is Kids’ Day at the Kelso Bridge Market under the Allen Street Bridge.

Kids can check out Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue’s fire truck and join the hula hoop contest at the market, which features vendors selling produce and arts and crafts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
