20,000 marijuana plants seized, four arrested in Klickitat County

GOLDENDALE, Wash. — Authorities have reported the seizure of 20,000 mature marijuana plants in Klickitat County.

Sheriff's deputies also say four armed people were arrested Wednesday and Thursday and are now in federal custody.

Deputies say 15,000 pot plants were found and two people were arrested Thursday on public land about eight miles north of White Salmon.

Two arrests also were made Wednesday as 5,000 marijuana plants were removed from rangeland about 10 miles east of Goldendale.

Also participating in the raids were the Drug Enforcement Administration and Washington State Patrol.

Becuase I want to smoke after a long day and relax and do my studies? I get A's and B's and never miss class. I dont hang out on someone's couch. I pay my bills with my own money. Its my opinion that the all consuming capitalist machine wants people to remain as starving and deprived, and as miserable as possible, that way they will consume more.... yeah a pot head might get the munchies, but they are much less likely to fall victim of the malls ads that attack our flaws and sell us quick cosmetic fixes to problems that they have created with facades, props and Photoshop, this goes well beyond the mall, the car lot, the factory, right to the very heart, the core of our society. a system that thrives off of misery, is one that needs dismantled. if what I write confuses you, dont get frustrated and call me names, just read it over till you get it. " I must add that, in my opinion , anyone who is growing 20,000 or even 1000 of anything is just plain greedy, and when it comes to something as potent as a drug a single person probably wouldn't even need more than a few plants for themselves. the real crime here isn't that they were growing weed, but their intentions to get rich and bloat, thats what they should get arrested for. "
