ROSBURG — A Naselle man was killed late Friday in Wahkiakum County when he was thrown from his pickup as it rolled over.

Steven J. Dobbins, 46, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, according to a news release from the Washington State Patrol.

The state patrol said Dobbins was southbound on Altoona Pillar Rock Road south of Rosburg shortly after 11 p.m. Friday when his 2007 Ford F350 pickup went off the road to the left at milepost 9.7. It went up an embankment and rolled down onto the passenger side, the news release said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
