Marsyla, Wright advance in Wahkiakum County commission race

E-mail this articleDemocrat Lisa Marsyla and Republican Wally Wright will face each other for Wahkiakum County’s District 1 commissioner seat in November’s general election, according to Tuesday’s primary results.
Marsyla received 260 votes, or 47 percent. Wright received 163 votes, or 29 percent.
Democrat Bill Coons received 141 votes, or 25 percent.
George Trott, the sitting District 1 commissioner declined to seek reelection this year.
