The Castle Rock School Board will hear the first of four sales pitches from superintendent selection companies during its Tuesday meeting. The board hopes to choose one company to assist in the superintendent search by the fall, with the new superintendent in place by the summer.

The district is looking for a replacement for Rick Wilde, who left the district in December 2007 to take a job in Arkansas. Susan Barker is interim superintendent.

The board also will hear an update on the demolition of the Vader School and a follow up on the district’s recent facilities committee recommendations. The board meets at 5:30 p.m. in the elementary school library, 700 Huntington Ave S.
