Fibre Federal Credit union is sponsoring its third annual Charity Motorcycle Ride poker run Saturday to benefit Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
Approximately 200 motorcycle riders will start in Longview at the new Fibre building on Commerce Avenue, cross the Lewis and Clark Bridge to Oregon and ride along Highway 30 with stops at Clatskanie and Astoria. Riders will then cross the Columbia River to Washington and continue to State Route 4 with a stop in Skamokawa. The ride ends back at the credit union.
At the designated stops along the route, riders will draw a card to create their poker hand. The top five hands and a random drawing of the worst hands will be awarded prizes.
Riders may register online at www.cu-charityride.org or in person at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $30 and includes a T-shirt, commemorative pin and lunch and entertainment at the end of the ride.
