Rose Center grand opening events

The public is invited to the grand opening of the Rose Center for the Arts from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
1 p.m.: Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting.
1:30 p.m.: Cornerstone ceremony with Masonic Lodge.
2 p.m.: Grand opening welcome program in the Wollenberg Auditorium.
2:30 p.m.: LCC Symphonic Band.
3 p.m.: Bosendorfer piano performance by Ann Long; one-act play; LCC Madrigal Choir.
3:20 p.m.: Storytellers Network.
3:30 p.m.: Tapestry tap group; one-act play; LCC Madrigal Choir.
4 p.m.: LCC Jazz Band; one-act play; LCC Community Choir.
4:10 p.m.: Storytellers Network.
4:30 p.m.: LCC Jazz Band, one-act play; LCC Community Choir, Storytellers Network.
Additional activities include the Connecting Waters art exhibit, mask making, "negative space" and audio technology recording lab demos.
The Rose Center is located at 15th Avenue and Washington Way. Parking is available in the lot on Maple near the college library, and on 15th Ave. north of the Student Center.
