Kelso senior right-hander Trevor May tossed his second no-hitter of the season Monday against Camas in a Greater St. Helens 3A League baseball game - and the Hilanders needed every last pitch of it.

May, who no-hit Hudson's Bay prior to spring break in another GSHL 3A game, struck out 13 and did not walk a batter in Kelso's 1-0 win over the Papermakers. The Hilanders won despite managing just one hit against Camas ace Taylor Williams.

Kelso remained perfect for the season at 7-0, 4-0 in league play heading into today's road game against Fort Vancouver.

May just missed a perfect game when a Camas batter reached base on an error in the third inning. Third baseman Nolan Enriquez also had a good day for the Scots.

Kelso scored its one run in the third. Chris Whitmire walked, then advanced to second on a wild pitch and to third on a sacrifice bunt by Kelly Rice. Finally, Phillip Cadwell connected for Kelso's lone hit to plate Whitmire.
