School districts announce weather-related closures 7:45 am

E-mail this articleSnow, ice and slush led to the closure of most schools in the Lower Columbia region Wednesday.
Included in the closures are the Longview and Kelso school districts.
Also closed are:
St. Rose Catholic School in Longview.
Woodland School District.
Castle Rock School District.
Rainier School District.
Lower Columbia Community College.
Winlock School District.
Toutle Lake.
Toledo.
Also, LCC Head Start/ECEAP part-day classrooms are closed
Clatskanie School District was running two hours late with no a.m. kindergarten and all buses on snow routs with no buses on Swedetown Road past Aldergrove Road.
Columbia Co. Rider Transit Dial A Ride services for Clatskanie, Rainier and Vernonia is operating on a two-hour delay.
As of 7:40 a.m., Wahkiakum School District was planning to be open and operating on time.
Kalama schools were already scheduled to be closed today for staff contract day.
