Longview Eagles celebrate anniversary

E-mail this articleThe Longview Eagles No. 2116, Aerie and Auxiliary, will celebrate the group's anniversary with a dinner Nov. 3.
A social hour will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. A baked chicken dinner with all the "trimmings" will be served at 6 p.m.
Long Haul will provide music for listening and dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The guest of honor will be state madam president Betty Duble, and state worthy president Bud Bridges.
The event also will include the past madam president's birthday ceremony, honoring past presidents who have led the Eagles since 1930. Service pins also will be awarded.
Members and guests who will attend should RSVP by Nov. 1 by calling 425-1444.
The people who will be honored and their years of service are:
• 60 years --- Doris Mae Jensen.
• 55 years --- Maxine Lichty, Lorraine Linn and Dorothy Norton
• 50 years --- Helen Martin.
• 40 years --- Elsie Denton, Priscilla McCracken and Jean Stewart.
• 35 years --- Donna Doerge, Helen Lee, Kresnez McIntosh, Lynda Mathers, Miriam Nelson, Mary Lou Skinner, Judy Swicker, Marguarite White and Hilma Whitside.
• 30 years --- Louise Bate, Shirleen Fuqua, Janice Kubacki, Betty Johnson, Betty Murdock, Mattye Peters, Vermona Rasmussen, Marcia Tennant and Joy Walker.
• 25 years --- Marilyn Campbell, Pat Evans, Debra Hannah, Beverly Houten, Doris Hayes, Dorothy Kocker, Nancy Lewis, Edna Moliskey, Ila Dalziel, Evelynne Payne, Ann Porter, Karen Richardson and Donna Rinker.
• 20 years --- Patricia Bate, Mickey Barker, Loretta Benefiel, Annetta Bowen, Shirley Jenkins, Phyllis Hanke, Kim Morgan, Karen Wilson and Carolyn Wytcherly.
