Crews battle Toutle house fire

E-mail this articleFirefighters were battling a large house fire in the Toutle area Monday night as of the Daily News' press time.
The fire was first reported at 9:34 p.m. at 199 Kent Drive, located about five miles east of Toutle.
Crews reported to dispatch that part of the two-story home and most of its garage were on fire and flames were shooting 30 to 40 feet in the air.
Cowlitz Fire & Rescue District 6 in Castle Rock, Cowlitz Fire & Rescue District 3 in Toutle and fire crews from Lewis County responded.
According to dispatch reports, everyone evacuated the house safely.
