Kylee Corinne Olson recently graduated from Washington State University in Pullman with a bachelor of arts degree in communications, specializing in advertising. She also received a minor in fine arts. She graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Washington State University's National Advertising Competition team.
Olson is the daughter of Brook and Nick Seaver of Longview and Don and Cindy Olson of Kelso.
Students earn place on WWU honor rollThe following students were named to Western Washington University's honor roll.
To qualify for the honor roll, students must complete at least 14 graded credit hours during a quarter and be in the top 10 percent of their class. Students who maintained a 4.0 grade- point average are indicated.

Michael Ziegler admitted to premier Honour Society
Michael David Ziegler of Longview has accepted membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society and was honored during a recent induction ceremony at the University of Washington.
Golden Key International Honour Society is the premier college/university honor society in the world, states a press release from the society. The group has more than 1.7 million members and 353 chapters in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
The global nonprofit organization provides academic recognition to college juniors and seniors in the top 15 percent of their class as well as leadership development opportunities, community service, career networking and scholarships. Membership into the society is by invitation only, to students in all fields of study.
Ziegler is the son of Mick and Roni Ziegler of Longview.
