Here is a roundup of Easter egg hunts and other holiday activities throughout the local area.


CASTLE ROCK

• Annual Easter Hunt --- 11 a.m. Saturday, Castle Rock soccer field, Castle Rock; ages 0-12; Easter bunny will be on hand; sponsored by Castle Rock Eagles No. 556; 274-9723.


COLUMBIA COUNTY

• Seventh Annual Megga Easter Egg Hunt --- 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Columbia County Fairgrounds, 58892 Sausler Road, St. Helens; children will be divided into age groups; special hunt planned for cognitively and physically challenged youngsters; petting zoo, pony rides, 4-H archery demonstration, coloring contest, showing of the Veggie Tales movie "The Easter Carol," face painting, pictures with the Easter bunny, and horse and buggy rides; more than 150 eggs filled with "golden" egg tickets children will exchange for prized donated by citizens and local businesses.


KALAMA

• Easter Egg Hunt --- 9 a.m. Saturday, Camp Kalama RV Park (Exit 32 off I-5); ages 1-13; sponsored by the Kalama Lions Club


KELSO

• Easter Egg Hunt --- 11 a.m. Saturday, Coweeman Middle School, 2000 Allen St., Kelso; free; children will be separated into two age groups; sponsored by the Kelso Lions Club; Rob Rice, 578-0518


LONGVIEW

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt --- 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Bethany Lutheran Church, 2900 Parkview Drive, Longview; snacks and devotions; bring sacks or baskets for Easter egg hunt; 577-8240

• Easter Egg Hunt --- 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Roy Morse Park, Longview; pick up free hunt bags at any Fibre Federal Credit Union branch; four age groups: age 3 and younger (with parent), ages 4-5, 6-7 and 8-9 (no parents); candy and prizes; sponsored by KLOG/KUKN radio and Fibre Federal Credit Union

• Easter Brunch --- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Longview Eagles, 1526 12th Ave.; $4.95 for brunch for adults, children ages 12 and under eat free; kids' party starts immediately after brunch


TOLEDO

• Camp Singing Wind Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast --- 8-10 a.m. Saturday all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, Camp Singing Wind, 388 Salmon Creek Road; breakfast prices: $5 for adults, $3 for youngsters; 10 a.m. Easter egg hunt; free to children age 12 and younger; hidden in one egg will be a Camp Singing Wind Day Camp scholarship; raffles for Easter goodies; tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the Camp Singing Wind office at (360) 864-4259.
