Eight teams invaded the Gymnastics 4 U Academy in Kelso on Saturday for the WaveRunners Classic, with the host club's Level 6 and Level 7 teams claiming first place.
The Level 4 team also turned in a strong outing, placing second.
Ashlee Bonahoom of Gymnastics 4 U took first place in the floor exercise at 9.50, while Taya Connors was first on the vault and balance beam. Connors also won the all-around title in her division with a combined score of 33.85.
Sara Arnett took third in the all-around for Level 5 (32.65), and Sarah Furth placed second in the Level 4 all-around (35.35).
Gymnastics 4 U head coach Pamela Cays was pleased with many of her gymnasts' individual scores, including a number that were 9.00 or above. Elise Baron and Tessa Huhta scored 9.30 on the vault, Furth had a 9.45 on the beam, Arnett a 9.25 on the beam and Emily Yan a 9.10 on the beam.
Bonahoom, whose 9.50 in the floor exercise was the team's best score of the weekend, also scored a 9.35 on the bars.
