More than 10,500 free FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards are available at partner agencies, including the Kelso/Longview Chamber of Commerce, Cowlitz Family Health Center, the free clinic and online at www.familywize.com.

The cards help people who have no prescription coverage with the cost of their prescription drugs.

Most pharmacies in the U.S. accept the drug discount cards. They have no usage limits, age requirements or registration forms. Potential participants should check with their pharmacy before using the card.

People with Internet access also can print a card by visiting the Web site www.familywize.com.

The cards can be obtained from the Longview office of United Way, 1338 Commerce Ave., Suite 201, or by calling the agency at 423-5320.

The cards are being distributed, free of charge, courtesy of Cowlitz County United Way and 270 other United Way agencies from around the country as part of a $50 million national, in-kind donation of discount prescription cards.
