A two-part episode of reality show "Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy" featuring a Longview family will air Feb. 16 and 23, a FOX TV spokeswoman said Thursday.
Camera crews filmed at Mark and Teresa Nelson's West Longview home on Oak Street for a week in October, creating a buzz in the middle-class neighborhood. Teresa swapped households with an unknown woman, who came to Longview to live with Mark Nelson and his teenage daughter. So far, the family has not been permitted by FOX to discuss their experience.
The Nelsons are members of the garage/rock/punk band "The Shiny Things," which has a Portland fan base. Mark Nelson, a drywall hanger by day, plays lead guitar and writes songs, and red-haired Teresa is the band's lead singer. In Teresa's absence, the "new mom" had to sing in her place at a Portland club gig, a family friend told The Daily News.
The 9 p.m. episodes will serve as the "Trading Spouses" season finale, according to Jennifer Sprague of FOX TV.
