The Daily News plans to launch a new feature on its Community pages called Free Stuff.
The idea is to offer people a place to get rid of appliances, household goods, clothing, knick knacks and more, but please, no animals.
The listings will appear on Page B3 Tuesdays. We will accept the listings on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of 20 words per listing. The column's length will be determined by the size of the page each week. Remember, no selling and no swapping. The column is for "Free Stuff." The listings will not carry over from one week to the next. If the item is not picked up, resubmit it. However, we reserve the right to first fill the column with new submissions.
It is up to the giver and taker to contact each other to arrange pick-up of the items.
Here are samples of the format we will use (For demonstration purposes, a complete phone number is not listed):
• Baby girl clothes, sizes 6- to 9-months, barely worn; no stains or tears; pants, dresses and blouses; 577-----
