Firefighters find body inside engulfed mobile home in Kelso

E-mail this articleFire fighters responding to a fire call Saturday discovered a body inside a Kelso residence.
Cowlitz Fire Distrct 2 and Kalama Fire District 5 responded about 8 p.m. to the fire at 2851 Rose Valley Loop Road, where crews found a double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames. In the course of putting the fire out, the body was discovered, according to the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office.
The body was turned over to the County Coroner's Office, and the identification of the deceased person has not been released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. According to Cowlitz Fire and Rescue, the home was mostly collapsed by the fire.
