E-mail this articleNgoc Thi Thai Nguyen, 30, of Longview, died April 25, 2001, at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born April 30, 1970, in Vietnam to Dam Nguyen and Linh Nguyen. She lived in Longview most of her life. She graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1988, attended Lower Columbia College and graduated from Central Washington University in 1993.
Miss Nguyen worked as an accountant for Georgia Pacific Wauna Mill near Clatskanie. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, photography and outdoor activities.
Survivors include a brother, Hung Nguyen of Longview; a sister, Missy Nguyen of Longview; her parents in Longview; her fiance, Jeremy Burnett of Clatskanie; her grandmother in Vietnam; and aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Steele Chapel. Interment will take place at Longview Memorial Park. The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday.
